Christkindl Markt, a cherished Canton holiday tradition, celebrates its 47th year on November 9, 10 and 11. Presented by Canton Fine Arts Associates, an affiliate group of the Canton Museum of Art, Christkindl Markt is Northeast Ohio’s premier juried holiday-inspired fine arts and fine crafts show which attracts visitors from throughout the state.
Christkindl Markt features artisans from across the United States, showcasing their works within the Cultural Center for the Arts and the Museum. Visitors will discover the highest quality creations in glass, painting, ceramics, photography, jewelry, textiles, floral arrangements, woodworks, holiday items and more.
Christkindl Markt has a reputation for showcasing exceptional fine art and crafts, with more than 100 artisan booths each year. Entry into the show is juried. Our panel of jurors have extensive art backgrounds in all aspects of fine arts and fine crafts. We do our best to make sure the show has quality and diversity. Our friendly volunteers offer booth sitting so that exhibitors may take a break. We also offer free coffee and tea in the hospitality room where they can relax in quiet surroundings. Artists accepted into the show will be listed on the Christkindl Markt/Canton Museum of Art website. We advertise the show on social media platforms, in artist magazines, newspapers and other media. There is free parking onsite. We invite artists and craftsmen with quality art to apply.
Application Deadlines - the jury will evaluate applications in two rounds.
- First Round: Applications sent before March 30, 2018
- Second Round: Applications sent between April 1 - June 1, 2018
Exhibitors may exhibit work only in the category (or categories) for which the jury accepted them. Exhibitors must apply separately for each category with a maximum of two categories. Two Exhibitors may share a booth but both exhibitors must apply separately and be accepted.
$25 non-refundable fee due at the time of application submission.
$300 8'x10' (approximate)

Images of your work:
5 High resolution 300dpi digital images (JPG or PDF format) will be the basis for the jurying process. Submit four close-ups, each showing only one piece of art, and one close-up of your booth with items of your work displayed. Your digital images must represent the items to be shown at Christkindl Markt.
Resumé & List of Shows:
Attach a resumé, a list of the shows in which you have participated, and a list of awards you have received.
- Round 1: March 30, 2018
- Round 2: June 1, 2018
Payment Deadline: No later than June 30, 2018 (for late applicants payment upon acceptance.) A late fee of $25 will be assessed after above dates.
Forfeiture of booth for non-payment: September 15, 2018
Cancellation fee of $25 will be assessed after August 31, 2018
Notification: Acceptance to the show notification via *email.

Rules & Regulations:
All work must be original and handcrafted by the artist.
Artist must be present during the show.
A current vendor's license is required.
A 2 1/2# (or larger) ABC fire extinguisher & heavy duty electrical cords are required. This will be checked by the Fire Marshall.
No open flames, no burning candles.
You must bring your own lights, tables, and chairs.
Electricity is limited to 500 watts per booth.
Bulbs cannot be more than 75 watt / 120 volts.
The Markt is inside a building; it cannot accommodate tents or canopies.
Your booth must be accommodating as we have many structural features to work around. Your booth may be in an open area where there are no walls. In that case, you will need self-sustaining dividers.
A Silent Auction donation item valued at a minimum of $15 is requested from each exhibitor.
